1) Make strategic alliances

If your business is new, you need connections and alliance that can help you with your growth. The right kind of connections will not only give you the information that you need, it may also help you find business, services or people that you are looking for. Additionally, while these is no option for you to link your Facebook page or profile yet, LinkedIn lets you list upto 3 websites, you can one of the spaces to list your Facebook page/ profile. 

6) Tag connections often

LinkedIn has a great feature that lets you tag connections when post on the platform. All you have to do is put a @ before the person’s name and the person will be notified about the mention. This will not only help you get noticed but will also help you build a rapport with your connections. However, it is essential that you use this strategy wisely. You must not do this on a daily basis or spam a connection with tags. Tag your connections only when necessary to come across as someone who is knowledgeable and aware of their surroundings.
